In the Caduceus global consensus network, super nodes play a crucial role in the maintenance, governance, and stability of the blockchain. There are 21 global consensus nodes, elected every 12 months through CAD staking. Node priority is determined based on the amount staked. Each major node can either operate independently or be composed of up to 100 smaller nodes, forming a network that ensures the blockchain’s decentralization and security.

Consensus Node Structure

I. Caduceus has a total of 21 global consensus nodes, with elections held every 12 months. Node priority is determined by the number of CAD tokens staked, and these nodes are responsible for the blockchain’s governance and maintenance.

II. Each major node can be established independently or with up to 100 smaller nodes, forming a broader network.

III. A minimum of 2 million CAD tokens must be staked to establish a major node.

IV. The mining pool for consensus nodes contains a total of 400 million CAD tokens (20% of the total supply). During the first four years, 50 million CAD will be distributed annually, with production halving to 25 million CAD per year from the fifth to the eighth year, and so on. Rewards are distributed every 30 days.

Caduceus Node Rights and Obligations

Rights:

I. Governance: Consensus nodes have the right to participate in blockchain governance, including voting on decisions that ensure the smooth operation and development of the network.

II. Rewards: Nodes that stake CAD will continuously receive rewards from the mining pool. These rewards are linked directly to the amount staked and the node’s maintenance contributions.

Obligations:

I. CAD Staking: Nodes must stake at least 2 million CAD to participate in governance and maintenance, ensuring a long-term commitment to the network. Staked CAD has a lock-up period, preventing withdrawal within a specified timeframe to maintain network stability.

II. Node Registration and Multi-Signature Mechanism: Each node must register with the Caduceus team. After confirmation, management is done through a multi-signature wallet (2/2 signatures, one from the node operator and one from Caduceus), ensuring security and transparency throughout the process.

III. Regular CAD Additions: Initially, nodes must stake a minimum of 200,000 CAD as an entry threshold. Subsequently, at least 200,000 CAD should be added to the multi-signature wallet weekly until a total of 2 million CAD is staked to secure node rights.

Caduceus Node Recruitment Communication Plan

During the upcoming Caduceus consensus node recruitment phase, the Caduceus team plans to host activities such as joint Twitter Spaces and partner airdrops to attract community members, institutions, and external partners. Node elections will expand to other exchanges, KOLs, and investment institutions to increase market impact and user engagement.

In the future, the Caduceus consensus node architecture will continue to evolve. As more nodes join, the network’s security, decentralization, and governance efficiency will improve significantly. The optimization of the node mechanism will not only reinforce the technical foundation of Caduceus but also support the long-term growth and innovation of the entire ecosystem, driving the blockchain ecosystem forward.
