Hello everyone, it’s good to be here.
Host: It’s great to have you join us. Let’s get started. First, can you introduce yourself and the Caduceus team to the community?

I’m the CTO, Matt McGuire, and we’re a team of experienced researchers, business specialists and passionate developers who’ve been working to create innovative solutions for blockchain architecture. Our team ethos is to embrace new technologies and opportunities for innovation, and Caduceus Metaverse Protocol is a new, highly secure and reliable infrastructure for the metaverse and decentralised digital world.
Q1: Can you explain what the Caduceus Metaverse Protocol is?

Caduceus is the world’s first metaverse protocol in a blockchain space… The blockchain solution for metaverse, if you like. It’s an infrastructure-level open blockchain platform specially built for the metaverse and the decentralised digital world.
It uses xR extended-reality technology to bring developers, creators and users an unrivalled metaverse experience.
From a systems engineering perspective, Caduceus is a truly developer-friendly, easy-to-use underlying public chain platform and it comes with its own complete set of development tools.
Q2: What’s the technology and protocol behind Caduceus? Can you tell us more?
Matt McGuire | CADUCEUS CTO :
Caduceus adopts the MetaverseGraph structure, which has infinite expansion and large-scale parallel processing capabilities beyond the ordinary blockchain list data structure.
In conjunction with BigBang’s fully hardware programmable accelerated blockchain consensus system, StarRing transaction parallel execution engine, and Nebula’s infinitely scalable block database, Caduceus can withstand the task processing capacity requirements in a high-concurrency and complex environment.
Second, the Caduceus Creation Platform VR tool gives users the ability to realise asynchronous communication and collaboration across space, and achieve reality-level fidelity through cloud rendering and xR extended reality technology.
And unlike other open source blockchain projects, Caduceus provides the core components to developers in a modular form. If enterprise users have customisation requirements, they can implement the component according to the same interface and insert it into Caduceus to achieve customised improvement.
Q3: What would you say are the main problems the team wants to overcome?
Matt McGuire | CADUCEUS CTO :
Today’s internet is a two-dimensional space, while the metaverse is a three-dimensional space where reality and VR will converge.
At the moment, limitations include the current underlying technical architecture and application business chain. The realisation of digital identities and digital assets, sophisticated VR/AR technology and hardware, high network transmission and edge computing is essential to metaverse evolution.
Our goal is to provide developers and users with a new type of metaverse ecosystem and a high-performance infrastructure that’s efficient, fast and secure.
Some of the obstacles that need to be overcome include stability, computing power and the digital divide between different countries and regions.
In addition, there are current limitations around AR/VR, full-body tracking/sensing, and other interactive technologies. Access to AR/VR accessories could also be a potential barrier to entry for the general public. We’ve developed the Caduceus chain with all this in mind, and that’s part of what makes it different.
Q4: Can you tell us how Caduceus Metaverse Protocol compares with other public chain projects on the market?
Matt McGuire | CADUCEUS CTO :
With the underlying public chain, projects need a systems engineering mindset, future insight, architectural vision and both micro- and macro-level focus to succeed. With a systems engineering framework design and a focus on commercial potential, performance, robustness, scalability, flexibility and reliability, Caduceus presents a versatile and very easily adopted underlying public chain system.
Q5: Can you tell us what the roadmap looks like right now?
Matt McGuire | CADUCEUS CTO :
We launched our testnet successfully in early December 2021.
In addition to new iterations of the test network and the launch of the main network, we’re continuing to develop the xR-OS system with a view to deploying the xR terminal in the next round of testing, so that users can experience the metaverse more immersively.
The hardware includes integrated camera binocular recognition, SLAM algorithm, 1080P high-definition smart-screen projection glasses, Caduceus xR-Glass supporting head tracking, plane detection, 6DOF spatial positioning, gesture recognition and other functions, and xR carrying tens of millions of traffic entrances.
We’re also working on the blockchain smart box Caduceus xR-Box. We follow current mainstream operation interfaces so you can use Caduceus just like using the Android system.
Q6: OK, so let’s talk about security now… What processes have you implemented across the platform to safeguard the assets and products of Caduceus users and major commercial partners? How resistant is Caduceus to harmful attacks?
Matt McGuire | CADUCEUS CTO :
Caduceus will ensure system security through consensus algorithms and decentralisation. Under the distributed multi-ledger consensus system, even if a few nodes encounter DDOS attacks or security problems, resulting in being attacked offline or data errors, this will not affect other nodes. The system will automatically identify faulty, erroneous or malicious nodes through the consensus mechanism and exclude them from the consensus nodes.
Since there are many distributed nodes in the blockchain, as long as there are enough trusted and normal nodes, the system can work normally. Even if most of the nodes are attacked and offline, the consensus mechanism will automatically stop the consensus and wait for restart because there are not enough trusted nodes, which will not cause security problems.
Caduceus is cooperating with a number of well-known security agencies, and the agency is responsible for reviewing the smart contract code. Before Caduceus is officially launched, at least two security agencies will have completed the code audit work.
Q7: We know that the current market situation is volatile, and this instability is holding back investors. Can you give us some good reasons why we should buy your tokens in this current climate?
Matt McGuire | CADUCEUS CTO :
Caduceus has created a new infrastructure with performance, reliability and security for the metaverse and the decentralised digital world at its core. Caduceus is a metaverse public chain that is easily accessible to creators and developers and to metaverse enthusiasts around the world.
The Caduceus token will be a vital part of the Caduceus metaverse ecosystem. We can regard it as a value bridge connecting the real world and the virtual world. The Caduceus token enables assets and values ​​to be shared between the metaverse world and the real financial world.
Q8: Do token holders have the right to participate in the governance of the project? What kind of decisions can they vote on or be involved in?
Matt McGuire | CADUCEUS CTO :
The foundation of digital assets is to put power back into the hands of users and communities to democratise decision-making, governance, and value accumulation.
Therefore, holders of Caduceus tokens also have the right to participate in the governance of the project. Since the tokens have not been officially issued, these are currently only in our plan, but it can be revealed that the holders of Caduceus tokens will be able to participate in rules such as determining mining distribution, rates, gas caps, etc.
Q9: How does the Caduceus stake system work? Does Caduceus have a Token Burning plan to increase Token value and attract investors to invest?

When evaluating crypto assets, the best traders will always look for relatively new assets in the premium circuit because if they can cross the chasm from obscurity to popularity, there will be plenty of room for valuation to grow.
In the development plan for the Caduceus token, the pledge is expected to be launched in the second phase, and there will be hardware mining and node pledge mining.
The token burning plan will currently formulate an initial burning mechanism according to market performance and ecological development, and in the subsequent stage, a new burning mechanism will be adjusted according to the voting situation of the community.
Q10: What’s the latest news? Are there any events that the community can join?

Our Caduceus Bug Bounty Challenge is still open for registration and bug submission. The challenge is to identify bugs and any potential security or workflow exploits.
