Optimization: Completed the re-encoding of the new transaction pool data structure, preparing for testing.
Optimization: Streamlined sub-processes in the MetaRing transaction pool handling pipeline.
• MetaNebula VerificationNode:
Optimization: Improved block storage performance.
Testing: Completed read and write tests for account data caching; writing 100,000 account data takes 50ms, and reading 100,000 account data takes 5ms.
Testing: Completed read and write tests for account Nonce caching; writing 100,000 account Nonces takes 50ms, and reading 100,000 account data takes 20ms.
Optimization: Developed a new StateDB module to address performance bottlenecks in Merkel tree state data retrieval.
• MetaVM Submodule:
① Optimization: Attempted to optimize the frequent map resizing issue, but the results were not satisfactory and actually increased processing time.
② Optimization: Reviewed data structures and operational processes for parallel processing algorithms to find new optimization methods.
